Bunkering & Marine Supplies
TUNSOYET AGENCIES provides a full range of bunker fuels, blended to meet ISO 8217:2005, as well as individual client specifications. We have our own dedicated bunker terminal, which ensures a constant supply of high-quality fuels. Our inline blenders allow us to provide exactly the products required without any extra hassle.

SHIP HUSBANDRY SERVICES
A vessel may require much more than simple ship agency services when in port. The need often arises for husbandry services, which can sometimes mean the involvement of a different agent to that which is handling the port call. Tunsoyet agencies provides professional husbandry services at ports and terminals around West Africa.
Our ship husbandry services include inspections, repairs, hull cleaning, and propeller polishing.
Since a ship owner is often unable to observe the actual condition of the below-water portion of his vessel between dry-dockings, he may not know the true condition of his vessel or what damage may be present.
Such damage can originate from a variety of causes and may be structural, electrolytic, or biological in nature.
Our divers are well aware of the many problems that can plague a vessel and are able to accurately document a vessel’s condition and provide a full written report accompanied by digital video and/or digital still photography.
If repairs or maintenance are warranted, performing such tasks underwater can often be far more economical than dry-docking. Some of the services that we provide include rudder and propeller maintenance, sacrificial anode replacement, underwater cutting and welding, repairs within sea chests, and transducer removal and replacement.
The most common response to hull and/or propeller fouling is to increase the RPMs of the engine to compensate for the reduction in performance caused by marine fouling.
This has the effect of not only increasing fuel consumption but also increasing the wear on the engine and related components and, in turn, reducing the service life of such equipment.
Our propeller polishing and hull cleaning services often pay for themselves within the first voyage after such service due to a significant decrease in overall fuel consumption. This is especially true in the current economic climate where petroleum prices have increased substantially.
Substructure also provides salvage services to its clients. Should a vessel become grounded, we will inspect her and make the necessary repairs so she can be safely brought to dry dock. If a vessel has sunk, we will raise her and get her to dry dock for refitting.
We work with our clients’ insurance companies and process the appropriate reports necessary so that an accurate and timely claim may be filed.
